Job description: fws is looking for a qualified accountant to join our volunteer management team, with the possibility of progressing onto the Board of Directors as Treasurer during 2008. We’re looking for a friendly, honest, reliable and socially conscious person who can manage our accounts and help shape the financial and strategic future of
fws. This is a terrific opportunity to embark on a thrilling philanthropic journey with a small-but-growing, grassroots organisation.
Liaise with: fws’s current treasurer, Anne O’Donoghue,
fws’s financial consultant Mark Bizeray,
fws board members and executive management team.
Time: Up to 8 hours per week required.
Term: Ideally, you’ll stay with us for a minimum of 12 months, but hopefully much longer. We are offering this role on a three-month trial basis. The position is available now.
Location: From your Sydney-based office or home. If you progress to the role of
fws treasuer in 2008, you will be required to attend 3 board meetings a year, usually based in inner city, Sydney.
Skills: MYOB experience is preferable but not essential. We are looking for someone who is a qualified accountant as this role will involve steering
fws financial strategy.
