Events volunteers - support staff leading up to the evening

(Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne based)

Job Description:
fws plans to host posh fundraisers in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisvegas before mid-year. The aim is to raise a total of $250K before May 2007. Naturally, the funds raised are going to fund the building of the Kesho Leo children's village in Tanzania, East Africa. What these events need are dedicated volunteers who are able to commit themselves to supporting the Events Manager in their state leading up to the event (this role could include anything from locating potential prize donors, entertainers, caterers, MC staff or alchohol sponsors to chasing RSVPs).

Megan Jacobs fw s Vic Events Manager and Kelsey Wilson, fw s Vice President
New South Wales:
Currently Rebecka Delforce, fw s President and Anne O'Donoghue, fw s Treasurer
Time:
Average 1-2 hours per week.
Term:
3 months.
Location:
From your office or home.
Skills:
Previous event management experience looked upon kindly, but not essential. If you're organised, motivated, enjoy working with a team and good at coming through on your promises, then we want to hear from you!
